a Pleasant Massacre

yeah, so, last night, I used up the entirety of a Walmart gift card to get stuff I needed for my apartment. and it only covered half of the stuff, plus a few dollars of stuff my mom wanted. I mean, it was fine, my mom put the other half on credit, so it's not TOO bad, but ... I dunno, I wish I didn't feel so avaricious. or something

i found out I'll be getting yet another computer, for free.
it's a really slow computer. hence the freeness.
but, it's a desktop, and so getting the hard drive (with XP!!) and the tower for free is a great step. unfortunately, that leaves replacing the motherboard, which can be pricey, but ehh. and at least I already have a screen to work with. but, I hate it, so eventually I'd replace THAT, too.

in a classically banal move, I've decided to, once again, import this blog to the infamous Facebook, probably just so that I'll have a higher number of notes. bleeeeeeeaaaahhhhh...



so, listening to the end of 'Evil' by Interpol through a set of Sony MDR-V150 Studio Monitor headphones, at full blast, is quite quite intense. although you have to take a break right afterward.
any headphones work, so long as they've got great bass, because there's more bass in that song than any other instrument, not even kidding.
