so, yes, aside from this being a typical "i love xkcd" blog entry, this one is probably going to be one that is rife with first-hand applications to my life which illustrate why. if i can find them.

electricity

okay, look, since it's now Thanksgiving, I'll write something substantial for once. it's definitely been a good while since I did.

I'm thankful for being with my family when I can be.
I'm thankful for living elsewhere, in a very nice apartment, which I cannot afford.
I'm thankful for friends who help me out and encourage me; they are many.
I'm thankful for the skills God has given me and how I've been using them at school.
I'm thankful for being able to be AT school. (even though I hate it, yes)
I'm thankful for this trusty little laptop I'm writing on.
I'm thankful for just about everything that happens to me, no matter what it is, because the Lord will do whatever he sees fit for my life.

et maintenant...

i wait for my brother to get down here to play Halo with me.

I'm in the radio field. Yes.

I have a rare Moby CD sitting beside me.

I have much to do tomorrow that I KNOW I CAN DO.

But I think I should sleep first.

THINGZ

which i have recently done:
1) last week, "wasted, threw out" my vote for president. i more or less agree, but i still don't like to put it in such negative terms.
2) this past weekend, gone to a party "dressed up" as Sherlock Holmes. I basically wear those clothes a lot of the time anyway, though, sooooo..... yeah. right.
III) last wednesday/this tuesday, passed both my written and on-air tests for being a DJ on my school's radio station. which I am glad about.
4) written another blog entry right here.
e) not written a paper that's due in two days. I shall proceed to try to do that right now.
